Reducing the time spent on texting apps

As a general announcement. I´m cutting the time I spend on text apps a little bit. I´ll eventually see all messages, and I´ll answer them soon. So, don´t feel bad or get angry just because I see your message and don´t reply in the moment. This is helping me to focus on other things and tasks that I do every day like reading, taking/editing photos or writing the posts on this blog.

I am in the process of use the texts apps like Instagram, in the sense that just takes my attention 1 or 2 times a day. If I get to your message in those periods of time you will get an answer in that moment, if not, you will get and answer the next time I open the app.

I´ve started to put more attention to those things and people that are present, here and now, not behind a screen. Also, this helps to eliminate distractions.

I´d rather have a phone call that take our complete attention 5 minutes than to be replying texts. So, if you would like to ask me something just call me, that’s exactly what I would do.

I hope you understand. Thanks.
